A Misunderstanding of My Article
Look at the title of my article. It says How the Bible Transitions from Polytheism to Monotheism. I discuss this transition in my paper using bible verses to show it.
Yes, the New Testament is all about Jesus, and Christianity is monotheistic by then. So, the transition happens in the Old Testament.
You bring up the monotheism of Judaism. I wasn't talking about the Jewish faith (again, read the title of the article). Yes, Judaism is a monotheistic faith, and it is older than Christianity. But, I wasn't talking about them.
You end with saying Christianity arose after the birth of Christ. Well, then, you discount the Old Testament as being part of Christianity, which is false. The Old Testament is, in fact, part of the Christian Bible.
So, no, the theological and historical context of my idea's is not messed up. It is your faulty interpretation of what I wrote that is messed up. But, I do thank you for trying to follow what I said.
