What are UAP’s?

UAP stands for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. It’s the official term used by the U.S. government to refer to what are more popularly known as UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects).

Essentially, UAPs are any observed occurrences in the air, space, or sea that cannot be immediately identified.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • What they are NOT: The term UAP does not automatically equal aliens or extraterrestrial activity. While that possibility isn’t ruled out, the vast majority of UAP sightings turn out to have conventional explanations.
  • Who investigates them: The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is the primary body tasked with collecting and analyzing UAP reports, mainly those from military personnel.
  • Recent Report: AARO just released its annual report for 2024, which you can find details about on their official website.
  • Today’s Senate Hearing: AARO’s director will be testifying before a Senate subcommittee today, November 19th, 2024, about UAPs. You can watch it live — I can provide links if you’re interested.

Do you have any other questions about UAPs? I can share more details about specific sightings…

I have lately been constructing arguments against God and the supernatural. I have proven that stuff doesn't exist with science equations. I aspire to be great.
