Cantor constructed an “Absolute Infinity” from this controversy — an infinity that was supreme over all other infinities. This Absolute Infinity was supposed to be equal to God’s infinity, which was supposed to restore God’s power to being unsurpassable. However, the Absolute Infinity is still just another infinity as later mathematicians showed, and that too could be surpassed with the methods to surpass any other infinity. Thus, Cantor constructed something false with this Absolute Infinity.
