Clarification not accepted. Atheism is "a" (a prefix meaning not) + theism (a root word meaning god). Thus, atheism literally means not believing in a god. Thus, atheism is not a religion.

Agnosticism is a cop out that says the human mind is not capable of comprehending whether or not God exists. This stance is false because it is easy to prove that God does not exist.

1 percent of us are clinically insane?

Richard Dawkins in his book The God Delusion claims that anyone who believes in God is delusional (i.e. insane).

Anyway, congrats on your higher than mine views and reads.

Ok. This is for my second high-light. Atheists do not reject science. Science is science. Science says the universe had a beginning. Many things confirm this--the background cosmic radiation is one thing and another is that the expanding universe is accelerating.

I embrace science, but that's not because I am an atheist--it's because it does the best job explaining things in the world around us.

I have lately been constructing arguments against God and the supernatural. I have proven that stuff doesn't exist with science equations. I aspire to be great.
