This debunking is quick and easy. This violates the transitive law (or the transitive property) in mathematics:
If we call The Father A, Jesus (the Son) B, the Holy Spirit C, and God D, we get A = D and B = D and C = D, so by the transitive law, we have A = B = C. However, by the Christian Trinity, we are told specifically that A is NOT B, B is NOT C, and C is NOT A. This BELIEF is a violation of the transitive law.
Here is a useful thing that the transitive law can do for us. I hear people arguing over whether point nine repeating is equal to one or not. We can prove that it is with the transitive law.
Let x = 0.9 repeating
Then, we set up a subtraction with this equation and this equation multiplied by ten:
10x = 9.9 repeating
-x = -0.9 repeating
We get 9x = 9. Observe that the repeating nines cancel. Yes, all infinitely many of them!
We divide both sides of that last equation by 9 to get x = 1.
Now, look, we have x = 0.9 repeating and x = 1. Thus, by the transitive property, we have 0.9 repeating is 1. When two things each equal a third thing, they must necessarily be equal to each other. It stands to reason. Yet, religion wants to try to say impossible things or untrue things and make you BELIEVE it. Don’t believe such absurdities. The Trinity in Christianity is such an absurdity. Don’t believe it.
