Do atheist understand anything about the difference between God as the creator of the universe and man made gods? (Hint: If you haven’t read the Bible discerningly then the answer will be no. With all due respect of course)

Well, we don’t have to read the whole bible to give us some insight into what man-made gods are (whew!!):

So, the above article goes on to explain that there have been many man-made gods — all created by man and have a beginning, the beginning being when that sinful man first created it. All such gods, the article goes on to say, are fakes and lifeless without any real power. One example in the article is Joseph Smith’s gods (the dude who created the Mormon religion):

“For instance, Joseph Smith created the “gods” of the Mormons, who found their beginning in his heart and mind, urged on by the demon Moroni.”
