Albert Einstein is widely known the world over for his accomplishments in physics. He is the poster boy for intelligence. He made quite a few groud breaking discoveries in physics that have changed physics forever.

Recently, I have found that there is a negative correlation between religious belief and intelligence. In general, the more intelligence one has, the more one becomes atheistic. Einstein was one of the most gifted people ever in terms of intelligence. And, his intelligence was in physics — one of the most difficult of the sciences. He knew all too well that scientific hypotheses had to be subjected to experiment to test them. All that training and experimentation built in him a foundation. When it came to matters of God and religion, there was no place for that in the experimental realm.
