I have found out recently that there is a general trend regarding belief in a god or the supernatural and lower IQ. The studies that support this finding show that the faithful a person is, the less he or she relies on logic and critical thinking and instead uses the supernatural to explain things for them.

I want the religious people, then, to increase their critical thinking skills and logical thinking over intuition.

This piece was my first foray into that. Undoubtedly my execution will get better as I go along. I am gaining mad respect for literature textbooks that ask critical thinking questions at the end of passages assigned for reading.

Consider this piece a practice run at honing my craft.
