I write a lot about science and math. My stats are well below yours, though. But, somehow, Medium just recognized me as a Top Writer in Science. I hope this translates into more reads.
I also would like to go full time writing on Medium, but I haven't broke the $100 in a month barrier yet.
One of my math articles is starting to buzz a little, so I am optimistic. I discovered some new equations in the material taught in high school algebra. Yeah, that's not a typo. It amazed me, too, that centuries of teaching the material had no one seeing what happens when you combine the ideas they taught. But, I actually did it and made some discoveries!
I do love that these articles are beginning to get some play. I notice some people are putting an article here or there in a list, which might be how I am seeing an uptick.
But, it's still well short of what I need to go full time on Medium.
