It would be nice if Jesus came today. We have all this technology and medical knowledge we didn't have before.
We could crucify Jesus just like the accounts depict, including the spear in the side and watch the water and blood exit the wound.
Then, we just leave Jesus on the cross with a bunch of cameras at all angles filming for the three days. If birds come and scavenge, which is how the Romans did it, so much the better.
After the third day, whatever is left of his body will animate right there on the cross! Jesus will miraculously have the God strength to break free of the nails holding him to the cross. I have read there was a large nail in the tushie area, too, that helped the body stay put on the cross. He'd have to lift himself off that nail, too.
Once he got himself down, medical staff can look him over to verify his stigmata and tushie wounds. If his eyes were pecked out and other parts missing, that could all be documented. Just as Thomas got to put his fingers in the wound holes to verify, our medical people can verify that Jesus should be dead in the same body that died on the cross.
Then, with all the modern evidence (9 hours + 3 days + get down from cross time) of uninterrupted film from numerous angles in excellent quality (not hazy UFO type footage), and the medical reports of being alive with all wounds medically documented, then and only then can we proclaim with Thomas that Jesus has resurrected!
I would by tickets to such an event and be among the first to get on my knees to worship him. But, he'd have to see me with his Godly eyes since his human ones would have been scavenged.
If God wants to show us a miracle, show us that!

I have lately been constructing arguments against God and the supernatural. I have proven that stuff doesn't exist with science equations. I aspire to be great.
