No. There are different kinds of scientists. I am a mathematician. Math has theorems, which once proven true stay true forever. Science, in general, has theories, which are never "proven" true. They follow the scientific method and are accepted or not based on their explanatory power to the data observed. If a theory comes along with better explanatory power, it is adopted over the current theory. Such is how science in general evolves. Math is different as I have described.

If you'll notice which kind of scientist was described in the story, you'll see which of the two approaches above should be adopted.

Why did I pick a mathematician as one side of the story? It is because I am one.

Please, don't throw stones at me declaring I have one position or another without actually knowing my position. You'd be surprised at how deeply what positions I do have are because of the depth of considerations I use to have them.

Thanks

I have lately been constructing arguments against God and the supernatural. I have proven that stuff doesn't exist with science equations. I aspire to be great.
