I heard a story on NPR (National Public Radio) yesterday that two think tanks both concluded that Russia is committing genocide against Ukraine. Biden has also claimed that Putin is committing genocide.

The World Needs a Police Force

What happens when a citizen commits terrorizing crimes against people? The police goes in and gets them. Well, at least that’s what’s supposed to happen. In the US, we have had two massive gun shootings in the last week. Both were committed by 18 year-olds with assault style rifles designed for massive killing.

The US is far and away the country with the most assault rifle mass killings. We have a gun lobby that wants to keep the guns in the populace. So, the US can expect more mass shootings. As always, though, they send their prayers.

The more recent mass killing, though, the police waited an hour before they were able to put together a SWAT team to go in there and take out the gunman. The regular police didn’t want to go in there to face off against the gunman even though reportedly they had the training for it.

But, even so, the police did have this SWAT team. They did go in there and take out the gunman.
