Which Improves Things Better — Yahweh or a Placebo?

About halfway through the show, Americus Reed is being interviewed. He discusses that a scientific study was conducted with Nike putters. All the participants in the study all used the same putter, but half were made to think they were using the Nike putter while the other half thought they were using some other putter. Surprisingly, the participants who thought they were using the Nike putter had lower scores (i.e. fewer putts) needed to sink the balls than the participants who thought they were using a different putter.
