Why Do Atheists Still Debate Theists?
It’s Not Because We Still Have Doubts!!
Science has clearly shown that God does not exist. God’s home, Heaven, for example, is hotter than Hell. This is clearly a problem in advertising for the everlasting pleasure of Heaven if you can only cool off by going to Hell. Satan pouts by being outdone, yet again, by the Lord.
Science has shown so many times that the bible is full of errors and lies. Yet, in spite of this, people are told to believe. And, many do, unfortunately.
Once someone is dead, they cannot be raised from it. Yet, numerous examples have men of God raising people from the dead.
A guy like Samson cannot break the pillars of the temple with just his human strength. He cannot beat many trained soldiers with just a donkey jaw bone.
Jesus allegedly healed a man’s severed ear. No, he didn’t.
A small amount of fish and bread supposedly fed thousands of people. No, it didn’t.
Joshua commanded the sun to stop for two days. The sun did not stop for two days. But, even here, the biblical author didn’t know the sun didn’t travel in the sky — the earth rotates around to bring the sun into view. That alone debunks the Joshua story.
Two she-bears came out of the forest to maul a bunch of boys to death. Why? It’s because they called Elisha “baldy.” The Christian apologists will tell you that the boys disrespected God. No, they didn’t. Here’s the exact text from the King James version:
There’s nothing in there about the “little children” disrespecting the Lord. This is the same story when Elisha got to watch Elijah ascend to heaven in a chariot of fire. Here’s a great work from an artist worthy of a post card:
So, this image shows Elijah in the chariot of fire ascending up to heaven. Elisha is the new godly man imbued with supernatural powers given by God. However, even little children are not impressed with Elisha, and they chastise him calling him baldy. Well, he curses them in the name of the Lord, and the Lord hears Elisha. Two she bears come out of the forest and maul to death the 42 children. In this artist’s image, Elisha is directing the mauling. My only beef with this image is that Elisha has hair on his head.
What happened to these children? The bears mauled each and every one of them to death. Did the children go to Heaven? I’ll say no because Elisha cursed them. So, their punishment for calling him baldy was death on earth AND everlasting torment. Who wants to believe that? That shows actions on earth control your afterlife.
Anyway, religion has so many holes that we can show, and science does not. Science may have areas that they cannot yet answer (like dark matter), but we tell you we don’t know. Religion doesn’t know, either, for that matter. And, no it isn’t God.
Science advances all the time. Religion stagnates. Go with the team on the move.
