We are currently hosting two games — chess and Fighting Chess. If you perceive problems in the chess world (and there are a few), we have solved them on our site. Fighting Chess uses the same board and pieces as classic chess.
Our Two Games (So Far)
Fighting Chess is a new variant that has strengthened the rook, bishop, knight, and pawn such that any material imbalance ceteris paribus (Latin for other things being equal) results in a win for the stronger side. Pawns can now forcibly promote, and any regular piece with the help of its king can deliver checkmate. There’s a few other clerical changes, but the main idea is that the drawing potential in the game has been greatly reduced from what is present in chess with its very weak pieces by comparison. Do you like driving a muscle car versus peddling a bicycle? That’s the difference we’re talking about here. But, we have chess on here, too. We understand it is the world’s most popular board game. But, we are offering Fighting Chess as an improvement to chess with many more games to come in the future.
