You assume God exists with that statement. No one has ever demonstrated God existing. It's only been claimed. God is a giant purple unicorn who belched out the Big Bang. God spoke to me in a dream last night, so that's how I know how He created the universe.
So, I guess I agree with you. Since God created the universe, He has control over space and time.
Oh, but He created us in His image. I just looked in the mirror and noticed I am not a purple unicorn.

If you want to claim God did something, you must first demonstrate God exists. If you manage to get passed that step (and you'll get a Nobel prize if you do), then you proceed to show how you know this God created the universe. Finally, once you do that, then and only then, can you show us how you know God is outside space and time yet can interact with it to do things like answering prayers.
